Rosana's versatility extends further, as she is also a skilled professional braider and the owner of a post-construction cleaning company that serves commercial buildings.

Rosana's entrepreneurial journey commenced in March 2021, driven by her determination to provide a better life for her family. As a single parent, she navigated the constant challenge of balancing her professional commitments with the demands of parenthood, yet her unyielding spirit propelled her forward. "Cleaning helps calm me down and turns something into good from my anger," Rosana explains, shedding light on the emotional toll her responsibilities can take.

The primary driving force behind Rosana's endeavors is ensuring the physical and financial well-being of her three beloved daughters. "My why is I wanted to find a way to take care of my children physically and financially and no longer have to choose between the two," she shares. With a strong work ethic instilled in her since the age of 15, Rosana is steadfast in her pursuit of sustainable living, breaking free from the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.

Embracing Your Shine, Rosana's nonprofit organization, aims to provide a solid foundation and stability for individuals in Kansas City, empowering them to become the best versions of themselves. "The more I became passionate about helping people in Kansas City, to give them that solid foundation and stability and support that they can use to become the best version of themselves," Rosana explains, underscoring her commitment to uplifting her community.

To further support Rosana's entrepreneurial journey, Zik, the CEO and founder of FiredUp Studios, connected her with KCSourceLink, a resource network that helps small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in the Kansas City area. They also introduced her to Brad, a website developer, who will be working with Rosana to create a user-friendly website for her businesses, funded by FiredUp Studios. "Most entrepreneurs need a little extra guidance and support to get their ideas off the ground," Zik noted. "Our goal is to showcase that anyone with a passion for positive change can actualize their dreams if they get the right help."
