Bridging the gap between underserved founders and investors

Event Overview

A trade show meets speed dating: investors get to network with 20 pre-vetted early-stage minority startups/businesses. The businesses will set up booths with their work and we'll flip the traditional investor-founder relationship on its head. This time, investors will approach the businesses and offer funds.

What To Expect

20 vetted minority companies & 40+ investors/banks

Shortening the vetting process for investors by getting them in a room with already vetted companies.

2 hours of speed dating between investors and founders (3:00pm - 5:00pm)

Having investors go to minority founders in their booths. Investors can pre-schedule a 15 min session with companies.

Bridging the gap between investors and early-stage minority founders

This is an opportunity to be part of an innovative movement that changes how traditional funding is done in Kansas City.

A networking event for all!

The event is open to the public from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. There will be performances, food and drinks to entertain our guests.
